E.M.T., E.M.S. and Medics this day was all about you! We appreciate all you do for your community! Special thank you to Saylor Township Fire Department for helping to organize this years water fights. Prizes were giving for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place in both men's and women's classes. Mercy One Helecopter arrived to offer tours and answer visitor's questions. The Blood Center of Iowa was on hand taking donations. Congratulations to Steve Eggers, Dick Crabtree, and Jean Garlick winners of $500, $300, & $200 gift cards for participating in our Hero's Day ride.

Big Barn's 2nd Annual Spring Open House and Tent Event drew more crowds than ever! Instore specials, tent sales, vendor representatives and fun was had by all. Thank you to all that attended.

Jump on your iron horse and check out all the cool sites Iowa has to offer! This summer's ride takes you to historical sites as well as through small towns with lots of Iowa charm! Forty Eight, Cross Bones, Street Glide, Street Bob, & Tri-Glide. These are some of the 25 bikes that riders could choose to demo. It was a perfect weekend for a ride!

Hundreds of riders flocked to Big Barn for our annual Blessing of the Bikes. This year we teamed up with the Des Moines HOG Group, ABATE, Christian Motorcycle Association, Iron Warriors, and Legion Riders to host the event. A chili feed was sponsored by CMA, the Harley's Hero's tour was on site to support area veteran's, and the Bloodmobile was on hand to take donations. We'd like to wish riders a safe riding season!

The staff at Big Barn entertained an enthusiastic group of ladies Saturday evening. These women learned many aspects of the motorcycling world, and met lots of new riding buddies! Ride free ladies!

Ladies really know how to party! Thank you to aerial artist Ann Stimmel for her fantastic shows. The barn was a perfect backdrop for her aerial stunts. One Night Stand rocked the house! If you missed out, don't make the same mistake next year!

The roads were ice covered, and the temp was below freezing, but that didn't stop folks from coming out to enjoy great chili! Congratulations to Michelle Carey, her chili was voted the best. Even though we couldn't ride here in Iowa, snow bird Bob Roberts(Membership Officer DSM HOG) rode 65 miles in our honor in Arizona.
